However, high-end five-axis CNC linkage machine tools, which are indispensable for processing aerospace engine components, have long been monopolized by foreign manufacturers. The high-end five-axis CNC linkage machine tool has the characteristics of high machining precision, accurate positioning, high cutting efficiency and strong processing ability of complex space surfaces. However, foreign CNC machine tool software control companies have imposed technical restrictions on China, which has affected the development of related processes in China. For a long time, China's high-end CNC machine tool industry has developed slowly, including aerospace manufacturing, and has gradually become a big dependence on imported equipment.
In May 2013, under the leadership of the national science and technology major project, the Beijing Institute of Power Machinery, a key research and production unit of the national defense industry, which integrates design, testing and production, was married with Dalian Guangyang Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. The machine tool industry has developed by leaps and bounds. In the past year, the two sides have carried out in-depth cooperation based on their high-end process manufacturing technology and machine tool equipment R&D technology advantages, combined with the aerospace complex and core parts manufacturing process requirements. It has overcome the problems of measurement and adjustment compensation of geometric accuracy and positional accuracy of domestic machine tools, matching of CNC servo parameters and process parameters, adaptive programming of parts and machining, etc., which greatly improved the performance level of domestic CNC machine tools. The domestic five-axis CNC linkage machine tool is more suitable for the aerospace product process manufacturing, as well as the needs of many military enterprises and other manufacturing industries.
Yang Jiping, deputy director of the Beijing Institute of Power Machinery, said that the first batch of parts and components that have been trial-produced by the two units have reached the processing level of foreign five-axis CNC linkage machine tools. Next, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation and form an aerospace numerical control production line to create high-end CNC machine tools that meet the needs of the aerospace industry and have national independent property rights.
