This event marked a significant milestone for the company as it displayed a total of eight laser cutting systems—six with medium power and two high-power models. The range of power output from these machines spanned from a few milliwatts up to several tens of thousands of watts, demonstrating the company’s broad technological capabilities. What stood out most was the Profile3015, a high-performance laser cutting system that integrated the latest Siemens CNC technology. This combination allowed for seamless integration of advanced laser cutting techniques with a user-friendly operating system. The machine featured a 24-inch large display, making it more intuitive and reliable for operators. Additionally, it came equipped with a Precitec sensor, an advanced laser head, and dual functions for both cutting and soldering, making it a versatile tool for various industrial applications. Huagong Laser’s journey to success began earlier, in 2000, when the company invested $5 million to acquire Farley-Laserlab, a well-known international manufacturer of laser cutting systems. By integrating and innovating the control systems from Farley-Laserlab, Huagong developed high-performance laser cutting machines that broke the monopoly of imported products in the domestic market. These machines were not only sold domestically but also exported to the United States, marking a major breakthrough for Chinese laser technology. In March 2006, Huagong Laser’s CNC laser cutting system entered the North American market, where it secured a $8 million order from a U.S. client. Later, the company successfully competed against multinational firms in a major tender for the domestic military industry, winning 11 sets of laser processing systems worth over 20 million yuan. Through strategic cross-border acquisitions, Huagong Laser established a solid foundation for global competition. Today, the company has achieved full localization of high-power laser cutting machines, significantly reducing dependency on foreign technology. This progress highlights Huagong Laser’s growing influence in the global laser industry and its commitment to innovation and excellence.
