On September 21, 2005, more than 200 merchants from coal companies across the country gathered in Jiamusi to witness the successful development of the EBZ135 boring machine.
Jiamusi Coal Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. developed an EBZ135 roadheader with advantages of short fuselage, large power, large inclination angle, strong rock breaking ability and good dust-removing effect in view of the new situation of the coal industry in China. The boring machine has applied for three national patents for the boring machine spray device, the boring machine cutting head spiral drum and boring machine, and the hydraulic equipment of the bolt rig.
Over the past few years, Jiamusi Coal Machinery Company has closely followed the market demand, with one new product each year, with a market share of more than 40%. The economic benefits have been rising year after year. The output value has grown from 200 million yuan in 2003 to 350 million yuan in 2004. It is expected to reach 600 million yuan this year. This achievement was benefited from the development of new products. Only the S150 boring machine newly launched last year accounted for 1/3 of its output.
At present, industry experts from across the country highly value the design and performance of the EBZ135 roadheader. More than 10 large coal mining companies have already ordered the aircraft. Experts expect that this new product will become the new darling of the market in 2006.
