The Grayslake Fire Protection District (FPD) held a wet-down and push-in ceremony today at Station 1 to officially welcome their new Rosenbauer engine. Engine 271 is now on duty and will replace the older Seagrave unit, which is being moved to Station 3. The event was a great opportunity for firefighters and community members to celebrate the arrival of this state-of-the-art apparatus. It’s always exciting to see new equipment come into service, and this one looks like it’s built to last.
