The largest NPE event in North America was launched on June 19 at the McCormick Exhibition Center in Chicago, United States. The exhibition attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors.
According to the latest data released by the Plastics Industry Association of the United States, the number of non-U.S. companies participating in the exhibition hit a record high. Among them, the largest increase was from exhibitors from China (Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan), 127 companies from mainland China and Hong Kong, and 61 from Chinese Taiwan. In addition, there are more than 24 exhibitors in India and South Korea. Among overseas exhibitors, Asian companies together account for 45%. NPE is held every three years and is the second largest international plastics and rubber show in the world. It is second only to the German K Show.
