Sales of construction machinery is better than seasonal

The demand for mines in the northern regions has not been much improved. Mines in some areas have been stopped for maintenance due to safety incidents. Local infrastructure projects have not seen large-scale start-ups. Local governments have been cautious about investment infrastructure. Most dealers mentioned that the current demand is relatively stable, mostly from powerful and well-established corporate users. The proportion of trade-in customers increased significantly, with dealers estimated to be around 30%.

The operating rate showed a certain decline year-on-year. The month-on-year decrease in the number of boot hours in June has increased, with some dealers estimated to be around 10%. Among them, the number of utilization hours for small digging can still maintain growth, and the utilization status of large digging is very poor. Due to the high holding volume before the excavation, the performance is still lower than the small digging.

It is estimated that the excavator sales in June will be around 9,000 units. Many areas in the south will enter the rainy season in the second half of the month and sales will experience a relatively large drop. We expect excavator sales to maintain a slight positive growth in June.
