The Shanghai 2012 Energy Conservation Awareness Week series with the theme of “energy-saving, low-carbon and green development†was held from June 10 to June 16. During this period, a signing ceremony for docking and strategic cooperation between banks and enterprises was held. According to Shang Yuying, deputy director of the Shanghai Economic and Trade Commission, the overall energy consumption per unit of GDP of Shanghai dropped by 5.3% last year. This year's target is the total energy consumption per unit of GDP dropped by 3.2%; the government department will continue to pay attention to the contract. The implementation of the fiscal and taxation policies of energy management companies will be implemented to help them solve the problems of financing loans as much as possible.
