Chemical Plant has implemented the energy-saving modification of the urea circulating water pump impeller to improve the pump operation efficiency and effectively reduce the power consumption. It is expected that the electricity cost will be saved by more than 500,000 yuan per year.
There is a problem of low efficiency and high power consumption in the operation of the urea system circulating water pump in the Tianze Group Chemical Plant. In April of this year, the plant first implemented a modification of one pump impeller. After the renovation, the flow rate of the pump per hour increased by about 300 cubic meters compared with that before the transformation, saving about 50 kWh. In May, the plant also transformed the impellers of the other two pumps. At present, all three pumps have been put into operation. According to the calculation of 50 kwh per hour for each pump, it can save 1.2 million kwh per year, save electricity charges of 504,000 yuan, and save energy.
