**Installation Instructions:**
**1. Wet Cylinder Liner Installation:**
Before installation, ensure that the bore and running surfaces are clean and undamaged. If corrosion is present, rework using flange or oversized liners. The liner must be installed correctly, with the projecting length matching the manufacturer’s specifications. After installation, check the cylinder diameter around the seal rings to avoid deformation. Use the correct sealing rings to prevent narrowing and potential engine damage. A pressure test should be conducted after installation to check for leaks.
**2. Semi-Finished Cylinder Liner:**
The flange surface must be vertical to the location bore and evenly beveled. Improper support can cause tearing. After installation, the inner diameter is finely bored and honed to meet specified dimensions. Ensure the liner surface is flush with the cylinder block sealing surface, and if necessary, perform surface grinding.
**3. Finished Cylinder Liner:**
Before installation, the location bore must be cleaned and checked for accuracy. Any out-of-center or damaged bores should be reworked for oversized liners. The locating bore must be cylindrical to maintain the shape of the pressed-in, thin-walled liner.
**4. Air-Cooled Cylinder Liner:**
Cast iron or light alloy cylinders are used depending on the engine design. Light alloy cylinders are grouped based on tight installation clearances.
