Urea trade between Vietnam and China is affected

The flood caused by tropical storms in Kammuri, Vietnam, affected the urea border trade between Vietnam and China. Two weeks ago, China exported 50-10,000 tons of urea through the border to Vietnam's Lao Cai province, of which 1,000-2,000 tons of urea FOB was less than $600s/t fob. The urea trading in Mong Cai province in Vietnam remained stable, with Chinese urea quoted at $670-680/t fob. Local Vietnamese traders stated that Vietnam’s urea export tariffs may be implemented from August 15-20.
