Working fire in Lowell, IN 4-29-18

This message comes from Eric Haak: The images below were captured at a MABAS box in Lowell, Indiana on April 29th. Although the address was in Lowell, the fire occurred within the jurisdiction of the Lake Dalecarlia Volunteer Fire Department. A local engine from Lowell responded and drew water from a nearby pond, stretching nearly 1,000 feet of 5-inch hose to the scene. Most of the water used during the firefighting operation came directly from that pond. These photos give a glimpse into the effort and coordination required during such an incident. The crews worked hard under challenging conditions, and it's clear how vital the availability of a nearby water source was in this case.
