Wuhan Wuhan develops liquid flow verification device through evaluation

    [China Instrument Network Instrument R & D] Hubei Wuhan Metrology Test Verification (research) Institute of water flow standard device was certified/calibrated by China Institute of Metrology in July 2015 and obtained the corresponding certificate. After nearly a year of trial operation, it passed the on-site review by the Bureau of Quality and Technology Supervision of Hubei Province in May 2016. The device can be used to test various liquid flowmeters.

    The standard is a social public measurement standard. The device consists of four verification pipelines. The scope of the pipeline is DN (15-200) mm, flow range (0.1-450) m3/h, uncertainty is 0.03%, and can be used for verification and Calibrate all types of liquid flow meters such as Electromagnetic, Turbine, Vortex, Mass, Ultrasonic, Float, etc., at level 0.1 and below. During the calibration and calibration work, the selection of pipelines, adjustment of flow points, commutator commutation, control of on-site valves, and collection of various signals can all be completed by the tester operating the man-machine interface. The operation is simple and the degree of automation is high. , greatly enhance the liquid flow meter verification / calibration work efficiency.

    The water flow standard device is a verification device that combines the static mass method and the standard meter method. According to the flow meter type, accuracy level, flow range and flexibility to choose to use. The standard table with 0.2-level electromagnetic flowmeter can be used as the instantaneous flow indicator for the “mass method” to check the timing, and it can also be used as the standard device for the “standard gauge method” of the verification device. The static quality method is the highest standard, and it can be used separately from the standard meter method, and it can also be used as a standard instrument to calibrate the standard meter online. The establishment of this standard has greatly improved the verification/calibration capabilities of our liquid flowmeters, providing a powerful technical guarantee for the market development and energy measurement of liquid flowmeter verification/calibration in our province.
