   Inline scrubber design (I-design) is manufactured directly using PureSOx technology, providing ships with an additional and more complex structural requirement.
   According to Alfa Laval, one of the main considerations for designing an inline PureSOx scrubber is a steam-water separator, which is not naturally formed because it exists in existing U-shaped designs. Since the damper portion is located at the top of the jet portion of the inline scrubber design, there is no design of a steam separator between the two.
