    China Drying Network News On November 7, the world's first industrialized production test device for refining associated rare earths from middle-low grade phosphate ore - the annual output of 10,000 tons of rare earth phosphorus concentrate test project was successfully commissioned. The project will provide an important scientific basis for the large-scale construction of phosphorus chemicals, fine chemicals and related industrial chains for Guizhou Jinlin Chemical Co., Ltd.

    At present, the project team members are conducting five major industrial production technical experiments for two months according to the trial plan scheme, and are fully collecting and arranging system leaching rate, recovery rate, consumption of major raw and auxiliary materials, material balance, water balance, process condition parameters, and materials. The major technical and economic indicators and parameters such as slurry settlement filtration parameters and product quality provide basis for the preparation of the 1.6 million tons of rare earth-containing phosphate concentrate process package. Prior to this, the technology of refining associated rare earths in phosphate ore only stayed in laboratory research and had not undergone industrial trial production.

    Zhang Renzhong, an expert in the field of guiding experimental work, explained that rare earth elements in the natural world, in addition to various kinds of rare earth minerals, still have a large part of them coexisting with phosphate rock and phosphorite minerals. Tantalum is a medium-heavy rare earth reserve resource following ionic mines. It is estimated that the total amount of rare earths associated with the world's phosphate ore is 50 million tons, among which the phosphate deposits in Yunnan and Guizhou are extremely large- and medium-low-grade sediment deposits, with more than 1.6 billion tons of phosphate reserves and more than 70 million tons of associated rare earth reserves. The low-grade phosphorus ore reserves in Zhijin County exceed 1.3 billion tons. The recovery of rare earths from the joint R&D new technology not only has low energy consumption and no “three wastes” emissions, but also greatly improves the comprehensive utilization efficiency of phosphate rock resources.

    According to reports, the research project of enrichment and separation of phosphorus ore containing rare earth low-grade phosphate ore is a key project of the National Science and Technology Support Plan during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period. It consists of Beijing Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Guizhou University, Qifu Group, and Guizhou Jinlin Chemical. The limited liability company jointly researched and developed and passed the expert acceptance organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Two years ago, Guizhou State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and China Fortune Group invested and established Jinlin Company in Zhijin County to build a high-standard circular economy demonstration base for coal, phosphorus, and rare earth chemicals, and cultivate an internationally competitive phosphate industry. base.

    Based on the internationally advanced flotation process technology, Kwong Fuk's test device is fully based on the construction of grinding/mineralizing device facilities in the Kwok Fuk Ma Ping Industrial Park. It is used to develop rare earth and other new products and adjust the product structure. Entering high-end industries will play a catalytic role.
