Change vacuum pump and increase efficiency

    The atmospheric-pressure reduction device of the Daanqiao Chemical Machinery Plant of Haimen City, Jiangsu Province adopted a liquid ring mechanical vacuum pumping technology to reduce the vacuum steam consumption of the device by 0.6 tons per hour and generate an annual economic benefit of 2.8 million yuan.

    In the past, the evacuation system of the plant's atmospheric and vacuum unit decompression system used a three-stage steam vacuum, which consumed 2.5 tons of steam per hour. With the increase of the processing load of the equipment and the limitation of the cooling capacity of the vacuum tower, the vacuum tower The top vacuum can only be maintained at about 95 kPa, which affects the decompression pull-out rate of the device.

    Last year, the plant transformed the three-stage vacuum pumping system at the top of the vacuum tower and changed the original steam vacuum pump to a liquid ring mechanical vacuum pump. The three-stage oil-vapour-reducing gas enters the liquid ring vacuum pump through the air inlet. After the working fluid of the gas and the top-down oil water is separated in the separator, the gas passes through the top exhaust port of the separator and enters the atmospheric and vacuum three-top gas recovery system. The working fluid in the separator is cooled by the heat exchanger and returned to the liquid ring vacuum pump. Through technological transformation, the vacuum degree at the top of the vacuum tower is maintained at 98 kPa. This not only increases the extraction rate of 0.3% for the vacuum depressurizing equipment, but also reduces the vacuum for reducing the vacuum to 1.8 tons per hour. Vacuum steam 0.8 tons, two annual total economic benefits can generate more than 280 million.
