From the Hampshire Fire Protection District:
We responded to a serious vehicle accident involving a car that crashed into a tree, causing significant damage, on Harmony Road north of Kelley Road this afternoon (11/2/18). A single occupant was extracted from the vehicle and transported to an Elgin hospital with critical injuries. Due to the high volume of calls happening simultaneously, we received assistance from the Burlington and Pingree Grove Fire Protection Districts.
