Dalian Polytechnic's new laser radar technology research achievements realize the transformation of scientific and technological achievements

    With the rapid progress of global industrialization and modernization, atmospheric pollution is becoming more and more serious, which poses a serious threat to human health and social development. Atmospheric environmental problems have become one of the main challenges of social development. Atmospheric laser radar (Lidar) technology is an active optical remote sensing detection technology that can determine the vertical distribution and temporal and spatial changes of pollutants in the atmospheric environment. It has unique characteristics in terms of spatial resolution, detection sensitivity, anti-interference ability and real-time monitoring. The advantages. As a powerful supplement to traditional technology, atmospheric lidar technology has become one of the indispensable and important tools in atmospheric environment monitoring, and is playing an increasingly important role. However, how to realize the atmospheric lidar detection technology with compact structure, low maintenance, low cost, and small detection blind area is one of the main challenges in this field, and it is also an urgent need for atmospheric environment monitoring.
    In 2014, Associate Professor Mei Liang of the School of Optical Instrumentation and the members of the research group proposed a new principle for the detection of the Shaw atmosphere Lidar internationally. Sand's atmospheric laser radar technology uses a continuous photodiode laser as a light source and an image sensor as a detector to achieve the distance-resolved detection of atmospheric echo signals under the condition of meeting the principle of the sand imaging, which overcomes the traditional pulsed atmospheric laser radar technology The application bottlenecks faced have greatly improved the stability and reliability of the system, shortened the detection dead zone of the system, and greatly reduced the cost and maintenance requirements of the system.
    After entering the Dalian University of Technology, Associate Professor Mei Liang won the first batch of national key R & D program youth project funding. In the past four years, with the support of national key R & D programs and other projects, it has led the research team to carry out key technical research, established the theory and method system of the Shaw atmospheric laser radar technology, and published more than 10 high-level international SCI journal papers.
    The research group carried out the application research on the technology of the Sarsa atmospheric lidar and realized the technology and system of the scanning salar atmospheric lidar. The system can realize real-time scanning detection of atmospheric pollution sources within a radius of 5 km. The research results have been applied and tested in environmental protection departments in more than ten provinces and cities such as Tianjin, Wuhan, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, etc., and have been highly evaluated by cooperative enterprises and environmental protection departments, and have achieved the conversion of patent results (the first batch of conversion projects has a contract value of more than 1 million. yuan).
