These advanced buses have already been delivered to Sany Heavy Industry and Meitan Expressway for operational use, marking a significant milestone in China’s green mobility efforts. The new hybrid electric buses are designed to operate in both pure electric and hybrid modes, offering flexibility and efficiency depending on the environment. In pure electric mode, the vehicle is powered solely by its battery, with the motor driving the bus forward. Experts highlight that these buses offer a quieter and cleaner alternative to traditional vehicles, with up to 30% better fuel efficiency. The electric drive mode can reach a maximum speed of 75 kilometers per hour, making it ideal for urban areas where zero-emission operation is essential. In suburban or longer-distance routes, the hybrid system ensures compliance with Euro IV emission standards, significantly reducing environmental impact.
