Ford once said that Ford EcoBoost engine technology will be widely used in a variety of models from small cars to heavy trucks. By 2012, Ford Motor will achieve annual production of 1.3 million EcoBoost engines per year. By 2013, 90% of Ford models worldwide will be equipped with EcoBoost engines.
