The GKN Group has announced that its 2011 sales totaled 6.1 billion pounds (about 9.7 billion U.S. dollars), a year-on-year increase of 13%.
In 2011, GKN's operating profit was 468 million pounds (approximately 746 million U.S. dollars), an increase of 14% year-on-year; pre-tax profit was 417 million pounds (approximately 664 million U.S. dollars), an increase of 15% from the same period last year; profit per share was 22.6 pence. A year-on-year growth of 9%; dividends per share were 6.0 pence, up from 20% year-on-year. As of the end of 2011, GKN's net debt was 538 million pounds (approximately 857 million U.S. dollars).
