Honglian wet gas transmission compressor was successfully put into operation

Recently, the wet gas external compressor at the Honglian Oil Production Plant under the Turpan Oil Production Plant has been successfully commissioned. This upgrade significantly boosted the pressure of the wet gas pipeline from 0.4 MPa to 0.8 MPa, and the external gas capacity increased from 34,000 to 64,000 cubic meters per day. As a result, the venting of red natural gas has been reduced, leading to a more stable gas supply for the Hilly Light Hydrocarbon Plant. This improvement has enhanced the yield of light hydrocarbons in the area, achieving a win-win outcome between resource utilization and environmental protection. After the Red Link to the Hilly Wet Gas Pipeline was put into operation, the issue of excessive saturation of natural gas at the Honglian Light Hydrocarbon Plant and insufficient gasification at the Hilly Plant was initially resolved. However, due to the long pipeline length, the pressure difference between upstream and downstream remained minimal, causing slow and incomplete delivery of natural gas to the destination. Consequently, the processing needs of the Hilly Light Hydrocarbon Plant were still not fully met. To address this challenge, the Turpan Oil Production Plant conducted extensive research and analysis before proposing the installation of a wet gas compressor at the Honglian Integrated Station. The proposal was approved by the oilfield company. Once the equipment arrived on-site, the production and operations departments coordinated closely with the oil production plant. After over a month of effort, the installation was completed successfully. During the trial operation phase, some issues arose due to a mismatch in the compressor pump models. In response, the on-site workers quickly organized a replacement, and the compressor is now operating smoothly. This successful project marks a significant step forward in optimizing gas transportation and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
