Qingdao Chuangtong Science and Technology Intelligent Power Supply System Industrialization Project Put into Production
Qingdao Chuangtong Technology Development Co., Ltd. has successfully launched its intelligent wind power and grid-connected energy-saving power supply system industrialization project, marking a significant step in green energy innovation. The project, which is now in full production, has an annual capacity of 12,000 kilowatts of wind power equipment. Once fully implemented, it is expected to save 120 million kWh of electricity, 14 million tons of standard coal, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 1.08 million kilograms, and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 132 million kilograms annually. This groundbreaking initiative not only brings substantial environmental benefits but also offers strong economic returns and social value.
The project, supported as a key demonstration initiative for building a resource-efficient society in Qingdao in 2006, received an initial investment of 8 million yuan and started construction in the first half of last year. It stands out for its innovative design, advanced technical specifications, and reliable performance. With its unique combination of grid-connected and off-grid wind power advantages, the system provides a versatile solution that bridges the gap between traditional wind power models.
Developed with original technology, the system opens up new opportunities for wind energy utilization. The products are protected by national invention patents and feature nine key advantages, including independent intellectual property rights for all core components. Unlike conventional wind power systems, this technology does not require abundant wind resources or large-scale transmission infrastructure, reducing both costs and construction time. The system can be directly used on-site, eliminating the need for high-voltage grid connections and battery support, making it more cost-effective and efficient.
Additionally, the project enhances the economic viability of wind power by enabling local use of generated electricity, reducing reliance on external power grids, and minimizing associated fees. Its moderate single-unit capacity allows for scalable production, lowering manufacturing costs and making the product more competitive in the market.
Founded in 1990, Qingdao Chuangtong Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of high-tech power electronics products. Last year, the company played a key role in drafting the national standard for inverter emergency power supplies. Recently, the company has begun exporting its intelligent wind power and grid-complementary energy-saving systems to Mongolia, signaling its growing presence in the international market. This development highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainable energy solutions.
