It was learnt from China North Industries Group Corporation that, in recent days, the first project of Huajin Chemical's “Eleventh Five-Year†key project, the last project of the 140,000 tonne/year ABS plant, was successfully tested on the first line.
There are two production lines for the 140,000-ton/year bulk ABS plant, which was started in July 2009. After more than two years of intense construction, the main line of equipment was commissioned on November 8 and the transitional product was produced on the 9th - PS grain. The material indicates that the first-line process flow of the main body device has been fully opened up, and the commissioning test has been successful once. It is expected that the on-line plant will produce qualified ABS products in the first line, and the second line of the body equipment will be commissioned by the end of November.
The total investment of the project is 1.15 billion yuan. After the project is put into production, it will be able to produce 10 brands of ABS products, which will increase sales revenue by approximately 1.7 billion yuan. The project has introduced the patent technology of the continuous bulk polymerization process of DOW Chemical Company of the United States, with advanced technology and energy saving and environmental protection.
