According to the Syrieh Chemical Group, 70% to 80% of the mercury emission reduction technologies that have been successfully developed in coal-fired power plants use bromine-based compounds to remove mercury, and the MERQUEL series recently launched by the Ministry of Industrial Products is based on bromine. Mercury products can be used in a wide range of mercury removal technologies.
