The production resources have been optimized and the production layout has been re-adjusted. Products such as refined oil tankers, large crude oil vessels, container ships, and marine engineering are scheduled to be placed at various berths and docks, and specialized production has been carried out to achieve quasi-flowing of product construction.

In recent years, Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry has successively established sub-construction bases, armored parts manufacturing bases, hatch cover manufacturing bases, superstructure production bases, and assembly centers outside the factory area, and the intermediate products that can be outsourced through cooperation are as far as possible. Diverting from the main body of shipbuilding, establishing an intermediate product specialization cooperation factory, and transforming the original closed shipbuilding into an open-type assembly shipbuilding, created conditions for Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry to speed up production.

The construction cycle is shortened, and production is also increasing. On June 26th, the 110,000-ton oil tanker built for the Danish Tom Company took only 102 days to complete the underwater cycle, once again breaking the underwater production cycle of the same series of ships. On June 27th, the No. 14 ship of the 35,000-ton product oil tanker was successfully launched, and the cycle of the ship was 82 days, which set a new cycle record for the same series of ships. On June 26, the No. 3 ship of the 110,000-ton crude oil ship built by China Changhang Nanjing Changjiang Oil Transportation Company was delivered 15 days earlier than the plan. The trial took only 5 days to create the fastest record for delivery.

The speed of production not only expanded the production capacity, but also created space for the new ship to undertake. In the first half of this year, Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry received 32 new orders, with a total tonnage of 4.73 million tons, and thus entered the fourth order of the world shipyard orders.
