The boiler denitrification and dust removal and transformation project is the largest environmental protection project invested by Yihua Company, including the transformation of low-nitrogen burners for No. 3-6 boilers and installation of new low-nitrogen burners, and the addition of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) facilities for boilers 1-6. With ammonia as a denitrification agent, the existing burners and tail flue gas are denitrified one by one; in addition there are transformations of induced draft fan, electric dedusting, ash conveying system, and denitrification facilities.
The Yihua Denitrification and Dust-removal Project will implement comprehensive management of six boilers and implement them step-by-step. The successful boilers are No. 2 boilers and adopt selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, which is currently the most mature and reliable denitrification in China. The principle of the technology is to inject ammonia into the flue gas containing nitrogen oxides to reduce the nitrogen oxides into nitrogen and water, which is highly efficient.
It is understood that Yihua will also complete the denitrification operation of boiler No. 5 at the end of this year, and ensure that all boiler denitrification and dust removal renovation projects will be completed and put into operation before July 2014. The removal of nitrogen oxides will be 7830.8 tons per year. It will make an important contribution to Yangzhou’s “Blue Sky Businessâ€.
