Wear and damage of construction machinery parts During the use of machinery, wear occurs due to friction between parts. Under normal conditions, the wear process of the part is divided into D stages. The first stage is the running-in phase. Before machining, the surface of the machined part is rough and the wear is great. For example, during the running-in period of a newly purchased mechanical vehicle, during this period, as the time increases, the working surface of the component wears gradually, and the fitting gap between the components reaches the initial gap. The second stage is the normal working phase of the part. After the fittings are worn out, the surface of the parts is smooth and smooth, and the clearance meets the design standard. During the use of the machine, the amount of wear between the mating parts is small, and the gap between the mating parts grows slowly. The third phase is the accidental damage phase. During the use of the machine, due to the increased clearance, the impact load will be generated, the lubrication conditions of the parts will be deteriorated, and the rapid increase in wear may damage the parts and cause mechanical accidents. Mechanical wear Mechanical wear is caused by the mutual friction between the surfaces of the parts. Although the surface of the parts is machined, it cannot be absolutely flat. When the parts are in contact with each other, they can be easily embedded in each other. As the parts move, the raised metal particles continuously fall off. When the fit clearance increases to a certain extent, the parts will be increased due to the impact load, and the lubrication conditions will be damaged and the wear will continue to increase.
