An example of a Solsk copper-molybdenum ore plant in Hakkas, Eastern Siberia, Russia

    1 Introduction
Solsk is located in Khakas, Eastern Siberia, Russia. It was put into operation in 1952 and the current production scale is about 20 kt/d.
    2. Deposits, ores and mining
Solsk is a reticular copper - molybdenum deposit, ore breccia type ore and disseminated metamorphic rock type ore, with a ratio of about 1:1.
The main metal ore minerals molybdenite, chalcopyrite, iron, molybdenum, China, covellite, chalcocite. Non-metallic minerals are mainly quartz .
The ore reserves in the deposit are about 10 Mt, the ore contains about 0.25% molybdenum, and the amount of molybdenum metal that can be recovered is about 15 kt (according to the first annual review).
The plant currently only processes sulfide ore. The oxidized ore heap will not be disposed of temporarily.
Open pit mining technology for mines, the largest nugget is 1200mm.
    3. Mineral processing technology
Designed as a three-stage, closed-circuit crushing process, the production has been transformed into a four-stage, closed-circuit crushing process. The ore is broken from -1200mm to -25mm (42%-8mm).
The process of copper-molybdenum mixed flotation is shown in Figure 1.
The ore is coarsely ground, coarsely selected, once cleaned, and twice selected to obtain a copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate. The coarse grinding fineness is 60%-200 mesh.
Figure 1 Solsk copper-molybdenum mixed flotation process
The copper-molybdenum sorting and copper selection process is shown in Figure 2. The copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate is re-milled in three stages (mixed concentrate, secondary selected concentrate, 5 selected concentrates) and 8 selected processes. Sodium sulfide is used to inhibit copper minerals, and qualified molybdenum concentrate is obtained. mine.
The copper-molybdenum sorting sweeping tailings enters the copper selection circuit through a coarse, one sweep, two-selection process to obtain a qualified copper concentrate and produce waste tailings. [next]
