Separation technology of heavy metals in waste aluminum

    Waste aluminum containing copper and other heavy non-ferrous metals, oil and other metals are severely contaminated, employing a method selected from the work points selected from the larger difficulty of heavy non-ferrous scrap carve. From the data reported at home and abroad, the research program mainly has the following aspects:

    (1) The heavy medium beneficiation method uses heavy medium re-election method to sort out heavy non-ferrous metals such as copper with higher density than aluminum, which utilizes the principle that the density of aluminum is smaller than that of other heavy non-ferrous metals, so that the waste aluminum floats on the medium. The heavy colored metal sinks to the bottom for separation purposes. But the key to the technology is to screen a medium that is denser than aluminum and less than copper. This medium is by no means water or other liquid, certainly a fluid. The fluid is reciprocating during operation, and the waste aluminum is floated on top of the medium to be separated.

    (2) The parabolic beneficiation method can separate various waste non-ferrous metals with different densities in the waste aluminum by using the principle that the objects of substantially the same volume are different when the same force is thrown. When the same force is used to project an object of different density and substantially the same volume along a straight line, the various objects move in a parabolic direction, and the landing points are different when landing. The simplest experiment can be carried out on a horizontal conveyor belt. When the mixed waste runs on the conveyor belt at high speed with the conveyor belt, when the operation reaches the end, the waste aluminum is thrown straight along the line, due to the different gravity of the various wastes, respectively Landing at different points to achieve the purpose of sorting waste aluminum. This method allows the waste aluminum, scrap copper, lead, and other waste to be evenly separated. Equipment manufactured according to this principle has been adopted abroad, and the country is in the research stage.
