AQSIQ: 32 ceramic seal nozzles failed

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the National Water Conservation Office recently announced the result of the national supervision and inspection of the quality of the three types of water-saving products in 2012. The 32 types of ceramic sealing faucets were unqualified, involving Sakura Kitchenware (China) and Zhejiang Anma Sanitary Ware. Zhejiang Orchid Industry, Fujian Special Ceramics Bathroom Industry, Shenzhen Chenglin Sanitary Ware and other enterprises.

This time, a total of 150 ceramic sealing faucets produced by 150 companies in 7 provinces and municipalities in Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong have been spot-checked. According to the requirements of the "Ceramic Sealing Tap" GB 18145-2003 and the corresponding product standards, the pipe thread accuracy, hot and cold water mark, flow rate (with accessories), flow rate (without accessories), valve Eight items including body strength, sealing performance, cold and heat fatigue tests, and acidic salt spray test were examined.

Spot checks found that 32 kinds of products do not meet the requirements of the standard, involving tube threading accuracy, acid salt spray test, cold and hot fatigue test, flow (without accessories), cold and hot water mark items.

It is reported that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) has instructed the relevant provincial and municipal quality and technical supervision departments to deal with unqualified products and their production enterprises according to relevant laws and regulations.
