The chemical standard pump is a medium-sized pump used to treat liquids in the chemical and petrochemical industries, refineries, and heat transfer fluids. Size and performance ranges are based on 22858 (2858). The entire range is so subdivided and the best efficiency of all service conditions is guaranteed. Maximum capacity up to 700 m3/h or 3080 gallon.
There are many choices of materials and shaft sealing systems, chemical pumps are suitable for almost all liquids, usually in the above mentioned industries. For example, we call acids, alkalis, solvents, hydrocarbons, heat transfer liquids, liquid sulfur, heavy oil, bituminous melting plastics.
The chemical standard single-stage volute pump is designed to pull out at the rear, with an end suction flange and flange centerline discharge. The bearing housing and the intermediate housing, the shaft seal and the impeller are a mounting unit. Pulling out the design unit with the back can remove without disconnecting the fitting. If the spacer coupling is used, it can also be fixed to the base plate.
The standard design of the pump housing is cast in one piece and mounted on the foot plate. The shell is a non-asbestos gasket with a sealed atmosphere.
