Distribution of hard-to-select iron ore resources in China

(1) Anshan Iron and Steel Mine in Anshan Iron and Steel. The iron ore mineral has many varieties, complicated structure and fine inlay size. (3) Yuanjiacun Iron Mine in Taiguyu Mining Area, Shanxi. The total proven reserves of the mine are 890 million tons, and the ore types are quartz and amphibole, with oxidized ore and primary ore. The size of the ore inlay is fine, and the particle size of magnetite and hematite ore is 75% to 80% less than 0.043 mm, of which quartz type iron ore is 20%-0.010 mm, and amphibole type iron ore is 40%-0.010 mm.

(4) Kunshan Iron and Steel Dahongshan Iron Mine. It is a magnetite-hematite mixed ore with a reserve of about 460 million tons, of which nearly 200 million tons of hematite. Due to the fine grain size of the ore, the gangue mineral composition is more complicated and the ore dressing index is lower.

(5) "Xuanlong" and "Ningxiang" iron ore. It is mainly distributed in Xuanhua, Hebei and Hubei's western Hubei. The resources are 3 to 5 billion tons, accounting for 12% of China's total iron ore reserves, accounting for 30% of China's red iron ore reserves. Due to the fine grain size of the ore, the ore structure is braided, the grade is low, and the phosphorus containing impurities is high and difficult to handle. It has not yet been developed and utilized.

(6) Baotou Bayan Obo Iron Mine is a large-scale multi-metal symbiotic composite iron ore.
