Some of the bamboo slips are still vaguely recognizable, but subject to the effects of oxidation, the color of bamboo slips after unearthing becomes black. “Since the bamboo slips are not easy to preserve, the probability of unearthing is extremely low. The unearthing of these bamboo slips provided the most direct textual information for the history at that time.†Next, the archaeological team will hand over the bamboo slips to the Jingzhou Cultural Security Center. In addition to bamboo slips, the tombs also had excavated weapons such as Ge and bows, and the tombs were relatively well-preserved. According to the scale of the tombs and burial articles, the tomb owner had a certain social status.
