Hankook Tire Europe Technology Development Center Expansion Project Completed

    Hantai Tire, a tire manufacturer, recently announced that its European technology R&D center expansion project was successfully completed and an unveiling ceremony for a new facility was officially held in Hanover, Germany.

    Founded in Hanover in 1997, Hankook Tire's European Technology R&D Center is dedicated to the development of localized products suitable for Europe's unique climate and driving conditions. Its focus is on passenger cars, SUVs, and light truck OE tires, providing European automotive manufacturers with Strictly demanding customized tire solutions. Based on outstanding product quality, Hankook Tire has established a close partnership with more and more top automotive manufacturers in Europe such as Audi, BMW, Ford and Volkswagen. After 15 years of steady development, the R&D center has grown from the initial 5 employees to today's 45 engineers and tire experts.

    It is reported that in the fall of 2011, Hankook Tire, which has just completed the second phase of the expansion, is located in the Hungarian factory in Europe. It has started a new expansion project again on October 1 this year and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2013. The expansion project has invested a total of 8.6 million euros and will be equipped with the most advanced mixing production equipment, which will greatly increase production efficiency.
