The two parties will invest in the Ningdong energy and chemical base to build an annual output of 2 million tons of synthetic ammonia and 3.2 million tons of urea production projects. After the project is completed, it will become one of the largest nitrogen fertilizer producers in the world.
According to the agreement, Sinochem Group will invest 16 billion yuan in the Ningdong Base across Yinchuan City and Wuzhong City. It will build four sets of urea production equipment with an annual output of 500,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea in two phases in five years. With an annual output of 2 million tons of synthetic ammonia and 3.2 million tons of urea production capacity. At the same time, Sinochem Group will further develop coal chemical products based on technological development, strive to form a large-scale modern coal chemical base with an annual sales income of more than 12 billion yuan, and form a basis for the existing nitrogen fertilizer production bases in Northeast and North China. The first phase of the Ningdong water supply project has been completed, and the water supply capacity is 400,000 cubic meters per day. The construction of the project is in line with the direction of the national industrial policy and will help promote the nitrogen fertilizer industry to replace backward production capacity and achieve structural adjustment and industrial upgrading. After the agreement is signed, Sinochem Group will immediately carry out pre-project work and strive to start construction as soon as possible.
