The west side of Chang'an Avenue starts a full-length 6.4km this year

Yesterday, the Third Meeting of the 15th National People's Congress of Shijingshan District was held. Xia Linmao, the district’s mayor, said in an exclusive interview with reporters after the meeting that the West Yan’an project, which has received much attention, will start construction during the year. The apple orchard transportation hub will also be officially constructed in the first quarter of this year.

Chang'an Street West Extension started this year

According to Xia Linmao, Chang'an Avenue stretches westward from Gucheng Street, west to Sanshi Road, Mentougou District, and the planned red line is 60 to 80 meters. It is classified as an urban trunk road and has a total length of 6.4 kilometers. At present, the design proposal has been approved, the environmental assessment approved, the land pre-trial, and waiting for approval from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. "According to the requirements of the city, construction must begin this year."

The traffic hub of Apple Park, the traffic hub of Beijing West, has also attracted attention from all walks of life. Xia Linmao said that the transportation hub has three subway lines, M1 line, M6 line, West Extension Line and S1 Line, and dozens of public transportation lines, and strives to construct in the first quarter. It is expected to be completed in 2015.

Non-Beijing Citizens With Public Rental Housing

Xia Linmao introduced that on July 27, 2012, Shi Jingshan took the lead in the Sixth District of the city to issue a document concerning the application of public rental housing by staff members from the Beijing Foreign Resident Register, specifying the relevant admission rules and other relevant rules, and formally accepted Beijing on August 1 of that year. Foreign residents apply for public rental housing.

At present, there are nearly 400 non-Beijing citizens applying for public rental housing in Shijingshan District. The Municipal Housing and Insurance Office plans to organize the application for the completion of Yaohao with the rented house at the end of January this year. The property is a total of 118 public rental housing units at No. 7 Jingyuan Road in the district.

Performance and bonuses linked to each department

Xia Linmao said that this year has added new content to the performance assessment of government departments. For example, key project targets in previous years were only set to start in a few months. When all projects are listed this year, they must not only have a start time but also have a clear schedule.

Xia Linmao revealed that the supervision department is currently formulating accountability measures. The basic one is that the performance of the assessment at the end of the year must be linked to the bonuses at the end of the year.
