The automobile transmission production base built by Volkswagen (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in the west area of ​​Tianjin Development Zone, with a total investment of 927 million Euros, produces the world's most advanced double-clutch gearbox (DSG), product codenames DQ380 and DQ500. Among them, the DQ500 is the highest-end product produced for the first time in the world, with the advantages of smooth shifting, high comfort and excellent power transmission performance. The project is planned to be built in two phases: Phase I investment of 627 million Euros, production of DQ380 and DQ500 series products, production in April 2014 and October 2014 respectively, with an annual production capacity of 450,000 units. In the second phase, it will invest 300 million euros to produce DQ380 series products with an annual production capacity of 450,000 units. After the total production of the project, the annual production capacity will be 1.35 million units and the output value will be 30 billion yuan.
