China's largest trona comprehensive processing project - Henan Tongbai annual production of 1.5 million tons of soda ash, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) project started construction recently. After the project is put into production, the annual production capacity of alkali in Tongbai area will be nearly 3 million tons, and it will become one of the world's natural alkaloid alkalis.
Tongbai County's natural alkali comprehensive processing project adopts the world's leading sesquisive process liquid phase water chemistry, one-water method, carbonization and other production processes, as well as deep-seabed fracturing connectivity and solution mining, and 14 international patented technologies, which are manufactured in China. For the first time, the alkali industry achieved zero discharge of sewage. The project also plans to achieve an annual production scale of 5 million tons in the future. The project produces heavy soda ash. At present, the heavy soda ash produced in developed countries is more than 80% of the total soda ash production, while China's heavy soda ash has only 33% of total production. After the project is put into production, it will have a positive impact on the adjustment of the product structure of the soda industry.
