West Huashan tungsten ore is one of the earliest development of tungsten ore beneficiation plant in 1960, the new production, the existing production capacity of 3700t / d.
(1) Ore properties: The Xihuashan tungsten deposit belongs to the high temperature hydrothermal feldspar - quartz vein deposit, and the surrounding rock is granite . The main metal ore minerals wolframite, scheelite followed, cassiterite, molybdenite, bismuthinite, sulfur, lead and bismuth Bi and a small amount of natural pyrrhotite, pyrite, copper ore, chalcocite, siderite, sphalerite, galena and other gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar, mica, garnet and the like. Metallic minerals account for 3 to 5% of the total ore.
The black tungsten ore is usually associated with quartz, and the particle size ranges from 10 to 15 mm to 0.01 mm, and most of them are intermediate grains. The scheelite is mostly symbiotic with pyrrhotite and other sulfide minerals, and has a fine particle size, generally 0.2 to 0.01 mm. The molybdenite inlaid grain size is usually 0.4 to 0.01 mm. The cassiterite is mostly associated with quartz and scheelite, and the inlaid grain size is 1~0.09mm.
The ore has a hardness of 10 to 14, a density of 2.7 t/m 3 and a bulk density of 1.7 t/m 3 . The ore has a mud content of 4% and a water content of 6 to 7%.
The size of the original ore is 400~0mm, and its particle size analysis and multi-element analysis are shown in the following table:
(2) Process flow: The ore dressing plant is divided into three sections, which are described later.
1) Breaking and pre-selection: The mining site has a minedness of 400~0mm. The ore is a three-stage, closed-circuit crushing process. After the ore is coarsely crushed, it is divided into two stages (120~60mm, 60~35mm). The final particle size of the ore is 10~0mm. The ore crushing and pre-selection process flow is shown in the following figure:
