Zhenhai's 1 million tonne/year ethylene project was successfully launched on April 20, 2010. After nearly two years of production operation, all environmental protection facilities of ethylene engineering have withstood the test of high-load production, and the generated waste water, waste gas, waste residue and total discharge amount are within the predicted range of the environmental impact assessment book. According to the results of a public survey conducted by a third-party organization, 96% of the respondents were satisfied or basically satisfied with the environmental protection work of the ethylene project.
