China Automobile Association: Domestic vehicle sales in the first three quarters of last year

According to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on the 12th, in the first three quarters of this year, domestic production and sales of autos were 1,308,710,000 units and 13,138,400 units, an increase of 36.10% and 35.97% year-on-year, approaching the level of last year. It is expected that the production and sales of domestic automobiles will be expected to exceed 17 million vehicles this year. From January to September, the top ten automobile manufacturers in terms of sales volume were: SAIC, Dongfeng, FAW, Chang'an, BAIC, GAC, Chery, BYD, Brilliance and JAC, with sales of 2,427,500, 1,901,300, and 1,845,800 vehicles, respectively. There were 1,716,200 vehicles, 1.1081 million vehicles, 532,250 vehicles, 475,300 vehicles, 386,200 vehicles, 375,800 vehicles and 359,900 vehicles. From January to September, the above-mentioned ten companies sold a total of 113.333 million cars, accounting for 86% of the total car sales.
