Yesterday afternoon, Guangdong Semiconductor Lighting Industry Joint Innovation Center held the 2013 China (Shenzhen) LED Industry Development Summit Forum in Shenzhen. The reporter learned from the meeting that the output value of LED in Shenzhen in the first half of the year was 46.9 billion yuan, and the industrial scale and number of patents were the first in the province.
The forum released the Guangdong LED industry operation monitoring report. According to the report, in the first half of this year, a total of 20 cities in Guangdong released LED street lights and tunnel bidding information, totaling 272,700. Among them, Shenzhen tendered LED street lights and tunnel lights for the first half of the year, 28,500 baht. The output value of LED reached 1251 billion yuan, ranking first in the country.
Shenzhen's industrial scale ranks first in the province, with an output value of 46.945 billion yuan. As of June this year, Shenzhen LED patent applications reached 17,373, accounting for about 40.
From the perspective of corporate profits, nearly 80% of companies' earnings in the second quarter were flat or better than last quarter. Experts said that in recent years, China's semiconductor lighting technology innovation capability has been rapidly improved, and the gap between technological innovation and international level in the upstream of the industry chain has gradually narrowed, and a number of outstanding LED companies have emerged.
