China Machinery Network (MechPost.com) survey data show that in 2007, the “China Machinery 500†company’s product sales revenue in 2006 totaled 2.549472 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.24% over the previous year; total profit was 177.397 billion yuan, The previous year increased by 9.5%. The entire machinery industry has developed steadily, economic benefits have improved significantly, and all economic indicators have been better than in the previous year.
This year's press conference also announced the list of “World Top 500 Machinery Enterprisesâ€. This year, a total of 60 companies in China were selected. Among them, only FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor and Shanghai Electric ranked in the top 100, and they ranked 64th, 81st, and 98th respectively. Most other companies are ranked after 300.
