Qilu Petrochemical accelerates the progress of ethylene wastewater treatment plant renovation

    According to the plan, the upgrading and transformation of Qilu petrochemical ethylene wastewater plant was completed in August. The company's water supply and drainage plants have been accelerating their construction progress since March under the premise of "focusing on safety, quality assurance and promotion."
    One is to formulate a construction schedule assessment method and use the completion time of the key retrofit control points as the assessment content to perform the performance appraisal of the contractor. The second is to carry out the reform labor competition from March 15th, taking construction progress management as its important content. Individual merit awards are also set up in the competition to mobilize the enthusiasm of employees. Third, after the current transformation into the equipment installation phase, the plant's technical staff went deep into the site and worked with the construction, design, and supervision units to promptly handle the problems that occurred during the installation process and further ensure the progress of the project.
    The ethylene wastewater plant is responsible for the production of 17 sets of production and supporting production equipments of Qilu Petrochemical and the treatment of domestic sewage. The daily sewage treatment capacity is over 5,000 cubic meters, and the annual sewage treatment volume accounts for about 70% of the total Qilu petrochemical, making it the largest sewage Treatment facilities are managed by the company's water supply and drainage plants. According to the national plan for the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, the Xiaoqing River Valley in Shandong Province where Qilu Petrochemical Company is located is a key area through the Eastern Route. This transformation will mainly increase the facilities for further removal of COD and ammonia nitrogen, and its drainage will meet the water quality requirements for the Xiaoqing River Basin where COD is less than 60 mg/L and ammonia nitrogen is less than 6 mg/L. This is the highest standard for wastewater discharge in non-landscape companies.
