The Logistics Trade Federation (LTF) was announced on September 7 at the China Ningbo International Smart Shipping Summit Forum. According to briefings, as early as April of this year, Ningbo Shipping Booking Platform Co., Ltd. and China International Trade reached a strategic cooperation agreement. The two companies will join together eight ports in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Dalian. International logistics service providers, foreign trade platforms, and service providers in the related fields such as finance, insurance, legal, and informatization service providers, established an operational platform for the integration of foreign trade and logistics companies, namely the China Federation of Logistics and Trade .

The orientation and goal of LTF is to establish an Internet-based logistics and trade alliance, organize cooperation and resource sharing among members within the alliance, enhance the competitiveness of alliance members, and conduct centralized procurement and sales with a unified brand and cohesion, and promote alliances with The rapid development of alliance members.

According to the positioning and objectives, LTF will work hard to build an integrated e-commerce platform to integrate foreign trade, international logistics service providers, finance, insurance, legal consultants, informatization service providers, administrative resources and other integrated services. Its peripheral industrial resources form a one-stop virtual “service trade” industrial park with online information sharing and coordination and offline resource allocation.

It is reported that at present, the International Trade and Industry Federation is mainly supported by the platform services of the two sponsoring units and is based on international logistics service providers at all ports to form a cooperative operation mode of online and offline close cooperation. In the future, it will actively integrate service resources in foreign trade and logistics related fields, establish a full connection with foreign trade channels, provide a unified payment and settlement system, and provide all-round financial, insurance, legal, and informatization technical support for the development of members.
