Voith wins 4 propeller orders

    Voith recently reported that it has received orders for four propellers (one VIT and three VSPs) for an offshore wind turbine that COSCO Shipyard is building for the Danish A2SEA.
    It is understood that the ship is expected to be delivered in early 2012. One of the four thrusters has a diameter of 2.3 meters, which is the strongest VIT on the market. Voith also claims to be the only manufacturer of 1500 kW power thrusters that can build permanent magnet common rail mechanical technology (edge ​​drive). .
