House fire in East Chicago, IN 2/18/15

I stopped by the house fire in East Chicago after finishing a job in Whiting. The crew was already in overhaul, but there was still some light smoke coming out of the structure. It was on the 1200 block of W. 151st Street. Interestingly, Station 2 was less than 500 feet away from the location. It's always surprising how close emergency services are to these incidents, yet it still takes time for things to get under control.
